Meet the ALMA community

Updated: Jun 18

Defined by Diversity

With ages ranging from 27 to 77 years old, and 7 nationalities, ALMA is undeniably one of the most – if not the most – diverse communities in Huatulco.

Mexicans represent 37% of our community, making them the largest group at ALMA, which fills us with pride. Following are our friends from the USA (27%) and Canada (22%). The remaining members come from across Europe, with French, Spanish, German, and Swedish clients rounding out this vibrant mix.

Like-Minded Members

Some of our members are retired; others are planning for retirement. Some are entrepreneurs—both local and international—while others are families, couples, or even singles (just saying…).
Among them all, foodies, musicians, pilots, surfers, doctors, dog rescuers, athletes—you name it!

Yet, they all share something in common: a love for architecture, a deep appreciation for nature, and a special connection to Huatulco. If that’s your case too, you’re ensured to find like-minded people at ALMA. Year-Round Living

Many of our clients plan to live in ALMA year-round, while others will spend at least eight months a year here, ensuring the community remains lively throughout all seasons. And of course, a few of them are investors who will only come once in a while.

With breathtaking views, expansive covered terraces perfect for entertaining, stunning shared amenities and a serene environment, ALMA offers not just a place to live, but an experience and a lifestyle where countless memories will be made.

Testimonial

Meet Elisabeth, the doyenne of our community, who previously invested in a property by the same developer in France, where she currently resides:

"My life was transformed a few years ago by an architecture of light, one without boundaries: the house of my dreams. An unheard-of luxury in the infinite beauty of an oceanfront landscape, constantly undergoing the metamorphosis of tides. This is where I currently live, in happiness.

But when I learned that Esencia had struck again in Mexico with a community project, I immediately became interested in this future realization, ALMA. Sumptuous, obviously, it triggered in me a call to a new dream that could one day become a reality, supported by the trust I place in these demanding entrepreneurs.

This new dream was about a life in connection with nature, in a collective atmosphere. It was clear to me, and suddenly, it took me away from Brittany, France, to fly to Mexico with complete serenity.

Thank you for existing and bringing such possibilities into reality."
